Meet the two high school best friends behind Unprompted who are dedicated to preserving academic integrity and tradition.
Landon Hale
Founder
Landon brings technical expertise and a passion for innovation to Unprompted. His experience in theater tech during high school taught him the importance of precision and reliability in high-stakes environments.
Currently studying Video and Film Production at MTSU with minors in Business and Media Marketing, Landon combines creative vision with technical execution to build solutions that educators can trust.
His collaborative approach and problem-solving skills drive Unprompted's commitment to creating technology that serves education rather than replacing it.
Kyle Greaney
Co-Founder
Kyle Greaney brings over half a decade of design and marketing experience with a deep understanding of user experiences for both students and teachers alike.
He has pioneered his college's Esports program through his team building and leadership qualities, and is passionate about ensuring technology serves education rather than replacing it.
When not working on Unprompted, Kyle enjoys being active, playing video games, and spending time with friends.
Our Story
Unprompted began with a friendship forged in the technical booth of their high school theater. Landon and Kyle met while working on lighting, sound, and stage management for school productions, where they discovered their shared passion for using technology to enhance creative experiences.
Their collaboration skills, honed through countless late nights ensuring flawless performances, naturally evolved as they tackled increasingly complex technical challenges together. What started as troubleshooting audio equipment and programming lighting cues became a foundation for innovative problem-solving.
Now both attending Middle Tennessee State University, where they're majoring in Video and Film Production with minors in Business and Media Marketing, they recognized the growing challenge that AI tools posed to academic integrity in their own educational experience.
Drawing on their appreciation for authenticity they set out to create a solution that preserves the integrity of student work while embracing technology's positive potential in education.
Today, Unprompted reflects their core belief: technology should enhance and support education, not replace the fundamental human elements of learning, creativity, and authentic expression.
